the privacy disclaimer surprised me in how it took affect on me, and affected my experience at Fresh Start.

So I was asked to sign a document saying that anything I hear from participants at Fresh Start remains private, not to be shared with others at a later time. At first, I was overwhelmed with the task of keeping this heavy secret.

As I moved into the experience, I discovered the incredible gift this waiver provided me. It provided me with the opportunity to safeguard, hold closely under wraps my breakthroughs, my delicate moments on the program.

It felt like such a gift to receive direction that encouraged privacy. That encouraged me not to divulge too much too soon. Just keep it. For you. Noone else has the legal rights to any of this. To any of my sweet, savory and dramatic moments. My tears, my emotion, joy, rage, pain, anguish, grief, sadness, overwelm. Noone besides for me has rights to my story.

And this is the lesson I take with me into this week.

Thank you, dear sisters for witnessing me, holding me, cherishing me and seeing my value. For being part of my story. I am forever grateful
